Radiator
Written together with Danny Cerqueria – who also stars in the film.
I had worked with Gemma Jones in a Jackie Chan film called Shanghai Knights and had always thought of her for the part of Maria. She accepted the role and her commitment was central in giving the project credibility and Gemma’s performance is quietly perfect.
Richard Johnson was the suggestion of casting director Fiona Weir and initially I could not see him in the part of Leonard. Of course Fiona was right and Richard gives an extraordinary performance.
The film was shot in my parent’s house in the northern Lake District.
Radiator received multiple awards and nominations and was released by Picture House Cinemas.
Radiator is available on Amazon and Apple iTunes.
